When God Whispers ‘Keep Going’: The Beginning of Eleven Eleven Wellness
Share
“Healing isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s God meeting you in the quiet moments, when your heart feels heavy, but your faith still whispers, ‘Keep going.’”
If you’ve found your way here, welcome. I’m so glad you’re here. My heart behind Eleven Eleven Wellness is to create a safe space where faith, mental health, and healing meet, a place where you can exhale, be honest, and remember that you’re not alone.
My name is Denielle (Den-yell), and honestly, I still can’t believe this is real. I’ve dreamed for so long about creating something that helps others find peace in their minds while strengthening their faith. Through this blog and brand, I hope to share encouragement, practical tools, and faith-inspired resources to help you heal, grow, and thrive, mind, body, and spirit.
So take a deep breath, relax, and walk this journey with me. Together, we’ll navigate both the challenges and the triumphs of our beautiful minds.
My Story: From Pain to Purpose
They say “the body keeps the score.” Mine remembers the anniversary of one of the hardest nights of my life every March. I can still see myself walking out of my parents’ house, turning to my mom and saying, “I have a bad feeling about going.” She looked at me and gently said, “Then don’t go.” I wish I had listened.
That night, my best friend of fifteen years betrayed me in a way I never imagined, by slipping something into my drink. What began as a simple visit ended in trauma that changed the course of my life. I remember sitting on her couch, praying under the influence, whispering, “God, if You get me out of here safely, I promise I’ll walk away.”
And He did. God carried me to safety, to my now fiancé’s home. That moment became the turning point of my faith. Even in my brokenness, God’s love covered me.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
Looking back, I can see it now, even in my pain, God was protecting me, preparing me, and proving His love in ways I couldn’t yet see.
Learning to Trust God Again
That experience birthed years of anxiety, panic, and perfectionism. I tried so hard to control everything, terrified of being hurt again. I had to quit my job and step back from graduate school because my mind and body were overwhelmed. At night, I’d walk down the hallway, afraid of what might be behind me.
I carried all of that silently, believing that since I was studying to become a therapist, I should know how to heal myself. But healing isn’t about knowledge alone; it’s about surrender.
“Sometimes God’s pruning feels like punishment, but it’s really protection.”
Through therapy, prayer, and grace, I began to trust God again. I realized He wasn’t punishing me, He was pruning me, making space for peace, for faith, and for a new identity rooted in Him.
The Turning Point
A few months before that traumatic night, I prayed a prayer I now know God always answers. Standing in the shower, heart heavy, I said, “God, if there’s anyone in my life who isn’t meant for me, please remove them.”
Within three months, three of my closest relationships ended, including that best friend. It hurt deeply, but this time I recognized His hand of protection.
“When He removes what isn’t meant for you, it’s so you can make room for what is.”
That prayer led me to peace, not because everything made sense, but because I stopped fighting what God was trying to heal.
Living with Faith and Healing
Today, I’m still on this journey. I live with anxiety, and I’m not ashamed of it. I take medication, practice coping skills like painting, journaling, working out, and talking to God daily. Healing and faith can coexist.
Through Eleven Eleven Wellness, I want to remind you that faith isn’t the absence of struggle; it’s the anchor that holds you steady through it.
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.” — John 14:27
Why “Eleven Eleven”
The name Eleven Eleven is deeply personal. My birthday is 11/11, but it’s also a symbol of divine alignment and faith. Every time I see 11:11, I’m reminded that God’s timing is perfect, even when it feels delayed or confusing.
This brand reflects that truth. Every blog, every product, every word shared here is meant to help you reconnect with God, find stillness, and care for your mental health without shame.
A Note to You
